Hallowe'en 2016

Halloween Festivities at St Basil School

Monday, October 31, 2016 is Hallowe’en. Students will have an opportunity to engage in some fun activities in their classrooms with their friends. As this is one of our food exemption days the children are permitted to bring in treats to share but please be reminded that they must be nut free and completely safe so no home made goods are allowed; only store bought nut free products. Finally, we do want children to show their spirit but we encourage children to come dressed in black and orange instead of full costumes. Every year there seem to be lost pieces and unhappy children who don’t have their full costumes for trick or treating. If however you do opt for a costume please be mindful that all normal dress code policies are in effect and that costumes must be reflective of our Catholic Values. This includes no costumes that are graphic, violent, or sexually explicit in nature. Additionally, there will be no masks or weapons (even replicas) permitted.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Respectfully yours,

Lisa Kuyper
